The first season of the S&B Thronetaker Series has come to a close, and your new Regents have been crowned!
- Julian H. used calm but ruthless strategy and a finely honed political mind to claim dominion over the commander league. taking first place in almost every one of his games and deposing the former reigning champion.
- Nolan H. relied on his razor sharp wit and knowledge of the field to take the throne in one of the most competitive and hard fought fields this season: Modern. remaining dominant over most of the roster, and at last beating out his rival in the final week!
- Dylan S. Laid claim to Draft with outstanding ingenuity no matter what the card pool threw at him. Many challengers came and went in the fight for the throne but His dedication was unmatched.
Thronetaker is a long running series where your standings in weekly events is recorded to an overall points total. The individual with the highest point total at the end of each 12 week season not only wins prizes, but takes the throne and claims bragging rights for the next season.
Season 1 has already been written in the annals of history but season 2 has yet to begin! If you would like to pledge your sword to greatness the first events for each throne are:
- Tuesday the 10th @ 6:30pm (modern)
- Thursday the 12th @ 6:30pm (Draft)
- Friday the 13th @ 6:30pm (casual EDH)
- Saturday the 14th @ 12:30pm (EDH, limited space so email the store for more info!)
